I'm a licensed CPA running a Florida tax and advisory practice — individuals, entities, trusts, HOAs, international filings and audit defense. RealDealCPA is where the other half of the work lives: the software I build because the tools I needed didn't exist, lived in someone else's cloud, or cost a subscription forever.

Why build
Most firms talk about AI. This one runs on it.
Accounting is rules-bound, repetitive and high-stakes — exactly what AI agents should be great at, and exactly where a careless one does the most damage. So the builds started where the pain was. QuickBooks Desktop had no modern API, so I wrote 150 tools for it. Practice software couldn't see the office file server, so KarbonCopy does.
Then the scope grew. Iron Jarvis became a full local-first AI operating system, now past its 300th release. Raster Studio is a Photoshop-class editor in Rust, because creative software should be something you own. And The World of Intelligence exists because the fastest way to learn AI is to make it a game.
How I build.
Local first
Client data stays on hardware you control. A model that's down refuses by name — it never quietly reroutes to the cloud.
Prove it
Every build ships with its tests. Raster Studio alone runs 6,534; Iron Jarvis has more than 10,800.
Agents prepare, humans sign
Dry-runs before writes, approvals before merges, and nothing filed without a person.
Honest status
Shipped means shipped. In progress says so — on this site and in every README.
